The Fender American Professional II Stratocaster represents the latest evolution of Fender's flagship solid-body electric guitar, built at the company's Corona, California facility. Designed for gigging musicians and studio professionals who demand consistency and tone versatility, this instrument refines the classic Strat formula with modern playability upgrades while preserving the iconic look and feel that has defined rock, blues, and pop music for over six decades. At the heart of the American Professional II Stratocaster are the new V-Mod II single-coil pickups, voiced individually in the neck, middle, and bridge positions to deliver balanced output and articulate clarity across all five switch positions. The deep C-shaped neck profile, paired with narrow-tall frets, offers a comfortable grip for chords while enabling smooth, fast lead runs. A two-point tremolo bridge with bent-steel saddles provides stable tuning and expressive pitch bending, and the added treble-bleed circuit ensures your tone stays crisp even when rolling back the volume knob. Finished in a satin urethane neck coat for a fast, natural feel, this Stratocaster is offered with a choice of rosewood or maple fingerboard and a selection of premium finishes including Mystic Surf Green, Dark Night, and Sienna Sunburst Metallic. Each guitar ships with a deluxe molded hardshell case, making it a complete, road-ready package for players who want authentic Fender craftsmanship without compromise.
Customer reviews
The neck feels incredible and the pickups are so much clearer than my old American Standard. Worth every penny.
I use this for session work constantly. The tonal range from the V-Mod II pickups covers everything from funk to blues rock beautifully.
Fantastic playability and finish quality. Only downside is some single-coil hum when I add distortion, but that's expected with this pickup type.
