I've been playing for about three years and finally upgraded to this Player Stratocaster. The difference in tone quality compared to my old squier is night and day. The pickups are clear and punchy, and the neck feels amazing. Highly recommend for anyone ready to level up.
Solid guitar for the price. Had to take it to a tech for a proper setup out of the box, but once dialed in, it plays beautifully. The tremolo can drift out of tune if you're aggressive with it, but overall very happy with this purchase.
As someone who's owned American Standard Strats before, I was skeptical about the Mexican-made Player series. I'm pleasantly surprised. The tones are authentic, the build quality is solid, and it's become my go-to gigging guitar. Can't beat the value.
Bought this for my daughter who's getting serious about guitar. The five-way switch gives so many usable tones, and the neck is comfortable for her smaller hands. Only minor complaint is we needed to restring and set it up properly when it arrived.
