I needed something small that still sounded like a real drum kit. This nails it. Tuned it low and the toms sound huge for their size.
Bought this for quick gigs where load-in time matters. Sounds surprisingly full once mic'd. Just wish it came with a snare stand.
Shells are genuinely nice poplar construction. Swapped the stock heads for Remo Ambassadors and it opened up beautifully.
As a teacher I needed something students could easily move. This kit still has that classic Ludwig warmth. Highly recommend.
